Ottawa shooting: Ex-CSIS informant Mubin Shaikh surprised by lax security

'How is it possible that security was not beefed up?'

Toronto 18 informant asks CBC News Posted: Oct 22, 2014 9:17 PM ET Last Updated: Oct 22, 2014 11:20 PM ET

Mubin Shaikh, the former CSIS informant who was critical to thwarting the Toronto 18 plot, says that after earlier, specific threats, "it's inexcusable that an individual can get into Parliament Hill with a rifle and start shooting people."

This is OUTRAGEOUS! This is the guy that led the Toronto 18 terror event. He supplied the weapon and was the lead hand from start to finish. He is now the glamor boy of the news media including CNN. What does that tell you?

With knowledge of NATO's Secret Armies and Operation Gladio, it is hard not to ask the question was this a strategy of tension exercise? It turns out the shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau's mother is a HIGH RANKING government civil servant. You can't make it up. Mubin's role was to lead an attack on parliament as well. This reporter followed the 'security' services in those days and broke up the attack with timely reporting.
