MINISTRY

HERE AT THE CAFE WE DEAL WITH MANY COMPLEX ISSUES THAT CAN TEST THE FAITH OF THOSE FACING A TRYING FUTURE. MANY TIMES WE MUST LOOK TO THE PAST TO SEE THE FUTURE. MY FAVORITE PASTOR IS DR. CHARLES STANLEY OF IN TOUCH MINISTRIES. HE HELPS US HEAL AND GIVES US STRENGTH TO FACE WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED US FOR SERVICE. I WOULD BE REMISS NOT TO SHARE THESE AWESOME SERMONS WITH YOU. COME TO THE MINISTRY CHANNEL TO FIND REST AND SOLACE. YOU WILL LEAVE BETTER AND STRONGER LIKE I DID WHEN I TUNED IN TO DR. STANLEY.

It appears there has been a determined assault on the sermons of Dr. Charles Stanley. Virtually all of the You Tube videos have been removed from the internet. Has Satan as manifested in Google's military industrial complex seperated us from his teachings? I hope this wasn't the request on In Touch Ministries. Christ preached to the poor without charge. So must his followers. There is support to Ministry from those so blessed. The manna of the ministry is the tonic to the souls of God's people. It is good and proper to give to as many people as possible. If this was a money issue from the ministry, I am truly disappointed. We will try to restore some of the links. We will find other pertinent sermons to satiate your soul. Matthew Nolan seems to be on the same page as I. I am a pre-Constantine Christian. If we go back further, Jamesian.

Newsboys (sometimes stylized as newsboys) are a Christian pop rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. They have released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. Currently, the band consists of lead vocalist Michael Tait formerly of DC Talk, keyboardist and bassist Jeff Frankenstein, guitarist Jody Davis, and drummer and percussionist Duncan Phillips.

The band was formed in Mooloolaba, Queensland in 1985 by two young men: Peter Furler and his school mate George Perdikis. Two other teens were added soon after: Furler's best friend, John James, and bassist Sean Taylor. The band's original name was The News, but once in the US they changed it to The Newsboys to avoid conflict with the US-based band Huey Lewis and the News. The band came to the United States in late 1987 after getting signed with Refuge Communications and released the album Read All About It in 1988 in the United States.

    FULL DOCUMENTARY:

    http://putlocker.is/watch-buck-online-free-putlocker.html

Buck is a 2011 American documentary film directed by Cindy Meehl. The film focuses on the life, career, and philosophy of the real-life "horse whisperer" Buck Brannaman.

Buck explores the life of Buck Brannaman from his childhood living with an abusive father to his successful approach to handling and training horses. Brannaman worked on the Robert Redford film The Horse Whisperer as the lead equine consultant. He teaches people to communicate with their horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment.

The documentary follows Brannaman to several stops on his normal, 40-week-per-year circuit of ranches where he gives clinics on "natural horsemanship". He spends most of the year on the road, apart from his wife and daughters. Along the way, we learn about his childhood including his celebrity as a child performer of rope tricks, the physical abuse that he and his brother endured at the hands of their father, how a football coach helped to free him from his father after seeing welts on Buck's back and legs, and life with the Shirleys, his foster parents.

It takes a lot to impress me in film and books. This impresses me. From a childhood of severe abuse to the top horse trainer on the planet a story of love and respect that will make you a better human being at no matter what you do. It will be a companion story to Dr. Stanley's Brokeness lecture. With our faith and God's grace we will make a better world one person and one horse at a time. An inspiration let me assure you.

    God's Pathway of Brokenness

Many believers fail to consistently rely upon the Lord. Their independence often manifests itself in various ways - self-reliance, self-righteousness, self-centeredness, or some other sinful attitude. It's also possible that such people might seem outwardly godly, while remaining inwardly rebellious against the Spirit. Unless we come to the end of ourselves and learn to allow Him to work through us, we will never reach our full potential in Christ.

My question about trials is if God is a jealous God and is the only God, do we negate the power of prayer by invoking the name of the Sun god Amen Ra by corrupting the prayer saying Amen? I refuse to use the word. It means so be it, but in obedience to pharaoh Amen's god king on Earth. If Moses led us out of Egypt, doesn't invoking Amen return us to bondage? I think so. I believe the insertion of Amen in our thoughts and prayers was designed as a mind virus to prevent prayer from having power. Just because it has been so repeated, doesn't make it right.

Europe's Refugee Crisis: Violence, Demands, and Muslim Conquest

ISIS threatens to send 500,000 migrants to Europe as a 'psychological weapon' echo of Gaddafi's prophecy the Mediterranean 'will become a sea of chaos'

Are we seeing Bible prophesy right before our eyes? Will we turn back to the Lord of hosts? These are the ultimate decisions we must make before it is too late. Many of these 'refugees' are not Syrians at all. They are most likely the fighters Gaddafi promised.

Jeremiah 32 King James Version (KJV)

32 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.

2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house.

    3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;

26 Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying,

27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

28 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:

29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.

30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the Lord.

31 For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,

32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.

35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

    36 And now therefore thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

    Anxiety: How to Respond

    By Dr. Charles Stanley

Do you sometimes lie awake at night, fretting about a situation? Have you ever felt paralyzed by worry? Although everyone experiences moments of anxiety, we don't have to let fear control our lives. The Bible teaches us how to acquire peace in the midst of stressful circumstances.

    A. Closely guard your thought life.

Anxiety is an emotion caused by fearful thoughts. Changing one's pattern of thinking generally causes apprehension to dissipate. When your thought life becomes negative or counterproductive, deliberately choose to set your mind on something else. According to Philippians 4:8, what should our focus be? What percentage of the time does your thinking measure up to this standard? In what areas does it fall short?

There are a number of ways you can stop an unhealthy train of thought. For instance, you can praise the Lord and thank Him, turn to solving a different challenge, or find wholesome entertainment. But perhaps the best way is to meet God in prayer and focus on biblical truths.

    B. Renew your mind with Scripture.

Many anxieties are rooted in worldly concerns. Refreshing your mind with biblical truth can help put such worries in perspective.

Two scriptural principles in particular can bring us great peace: Our heavenly Father is sovereign and in control over all situations (Ps. 91). He lovingly provides for the needs of His children (Matt. 6:25-34).

You can also look for verses regarding the specific anxieties that bother you the most. For instance, to counter an unhealthy fear of dying, remind yourself: "God will redeem my life from the grave; He will surely take me to Himself" (Ps. 49:15 NIV). In what area of your life do you feel most anxious? What specific scripture(s) could remind you of God's perspective on those worries?

If no verses come to mind, simply ask the Lord to reveal appropriate ones during the next few weeks.

    C. Turn anxieties into prayers.

A constructive way to redirect nervous energy is to turn our concerns over to the heavenly Father. You may want to get on your knees and talk out loud to God in the privacy of your home. Or you may find it productive to write your prayers in the form of letters to the Father.

Anxieties may return at some point. If that happens, simply say, "Lord, I'm giving this worry back to You." Then deliberately refocus your thoughts. Prayer should be accompanied by thanksgiving (Phil. 4:6). What are some reasons for believers to be grateful? How can an attitude of thankfulness lower a person's anxiety level? If we make known our requests to God, what does Paul promise will happen (Phil. 4:7)? What do you think this would look like in your life?

Sometime today, present your requests to the Lord according to Paul's instructions in Philippians 4:6. Even if your situation does not change, God will give you His supernatural peace.

    D. Diligently fulfill your responsibilities.

When we fail to perform our duties, we sometimes end up with anxiety-causing situations. For example, a person who fails to maintain his car will typically end up with a malfunctioning vehicle.

Those who neglect their responsibilities will face many unnecessary hardships in life. Let's look at this biblical principle as it relates to money. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus promises that the Father will provide for our basic needs. But Scripture also teaches that in most cases, believers have a role to play in meeting financial commitments (2 Thess. 3:10). According to the wisdom of Proverbs, what are a couple of reasons why some people become poor (Prov. 10:4; 28:19)? What are two reasons why the apostle Paul worked to earn a living (2 Thess. 3:7-9)?

Now, let's apply the general principle that each believer must do his or her part to respond to problems. Is God prompting you to be a part of the solution regarding one of your concerns? If so, in what way? What do you think has prevented you from doing your part?

Of course, taking responsibility doesn't guarantee a resolution to the problem. If the situation doesn't resolve, you can still find supernatural peace by applying the concepts in the rest of this study. Continue to be sensitive to the Lord's guidance regarding your role in finding a solution. If necessary, seek outside help from your pastor, a professional counselor, or a ministry designed to help people struggling with a similar difficulty.

Conclusion: Anxiety can cripple us emotionally and hinder our productivity. Or it can drive us to prayer and prompt spiritual growth. Choose to respond to worry in a godly manner. Not only will the Lord be glorified, but you will be set free from anxiety's paralyzing grip.
