Dozens of climbers were forced to run for cover when nearby volcano erupted
They had been climbing the volcano and were settling down for some breakfast
The loud rumbles stunned the climbers who saw a massive ash cloud in the sky
This is the incredible moment a group of climbers were forced to flee after the volcano they were had been climbing suddenly and spectacularly erupted.
Shopan Pengetsu and his team were making breakfast on the slopes of Mount Merapi in Central Java, Indonesia moments before the frightening eruption.
They stopped what they were doing and made a hasty retreat.
The video shows the group sitting around and cooking, seemingly in good spirits.
They can be heard laughing as Mr Pengetsu starts preparing food - before he is interrupted by a loud rumble.
An outbreak of panicked voices took over the video as the group noticed the thunderous sounds coming from a nearby crater.
