DON'T PANIC! PANIC! And these things too must come to pass and so says Matthew 24:6. So we shouldn't PANIC. We should have faith. This is a very prolific doodle dabbling in prophecy. It is to celebrate the birth of noted author Douglas Adams who was a devout atheist. He was born on the infamous 3/11 and died on another infamous or perhaps soon to be infamous 5/11. he was a contributor to the infamous Dr. Who and wrote The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He participated in the Monty Python series including Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The search for the mythical grail has captivated millions through generations. Of note he appeared in episode 42 of Monty Python's Flying Circus entitled "The Light Entertainment War." It appears it is war we are viewing in this iconic doodle. It is one of the few to omit the infamous 'GOOGLE' in some variation. By clicking the DON'T PANIC we go through a series of videos outlining the future.

The plots to any of these series can take us through a myriad of trails. In Hitchhiker's the main plot is an alien race comes to Earth to destroy it to make way for a hyperspatial express route, five minutes before the conclusion of its 10-million-year program. So the prime meaning involves the destruction of the Earth. The videos in DON'T PANIC take us through the many scenarios. The first series had six specific 'ends of the Earth.'

Specific mention is made of Douglas Adam's height in his Wikipedia biography. They were most likely planted there. Adams was six feet tall (1.83 m) by age 12 and stopped growing at 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m). He was 6 feet tall at age 12. Twelve becomes three and combined with the 6 the infamous 666 the number of a man. Of course at 6 feet 5 inches we get an eleven for the classic Illuminati date series. Since he was born on one and died on another that is significant. The six may also imply June 11th.

The first DON'T PANIC video shows a strange insertion into the head of a man. Is it alien or domestic computer chipping? It is relaying a message to the host. Is it the mark of the beast in timing with prophecy?

The next tells us that the occupants of Earth are mostly harmless. Serious hitchhiker's should already know that. However, harmlessness doesn't protect one from harm. It may even exacerbate it.

The next click shows a man falling and then rising in possible 'RAPTURE.'

In the next segment man approaches a table and drinks from a glass containing a greenish fluid. He collapses and is crushed by a large object falling from above. The object could appear to be a bar of gold. In end times everything collapses to nothing.

The next video illustrates an intergalactic battle of sorts.

We get personal at this point. A greenish humanoid sneezes and spews his germs into the air. A 'bug' of some sort swirls around in the air in its glory. We should infer an airborne bio threat of some description. It could be intentional. It could be accidental. We are unleashing bacteria from below Antarctica that hasn't seen man for eons if ever.

The next set also shows a companion to the above. A man whacks a mouse with a stick. He is in turn struck by a dolphin. They are one of the magnamimous creatures on Earth. Then the mouse strikes at the dolphin. In line with germs it has been rodents that carry them. They are set to return as vectors in the contagion.

The next video serves two purposes. It introduces the green towel or blanket which is also center stage on the console behind the hitchhiker's bag. It has a myriad of uses beneficial to man, but in history the blanket was used as a weapon to mask smallpox as a bioweapon to kill the indigenous peoples in the way of conquest.

From Chapter 3 of the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Adams wrote this:

A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-bogglingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitchhiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost." What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

His towel is generally red. It contains the instruction DON'T PANIC. It has been thought of as a distress signal. It may be our Doodle SOS. It is held on May 25th two weeks after Adam's death. Hint. Hint. Green may imply GO ahead with the mission.

In this short the 'aliens' sign a treaty or agreement. Is it the FALSE peace perhaps? It is broken then. One of them waves something over the plant and it dies. A measure of wheat for a penny time.

The next few set the stage for the APOCALYPTIC ending. Like Einstein's formula stated E=MC². The nuclear option is on the table. North Korea has made the threat.

Just in case you think that's some wild eyed deduction the next image parodies a quote from Einstein himself.

We see a wave of stones being hurled at the tablet. And don't forget the previous ones where a stick was employed.

The series ends with another code. It is the 42 puzzle from Hitchhiker's.

The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything from the supercomputer, Deep Thought, specially built for this purpose. It takes Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute and check the answer, which turns out to be 42. The Ultimate Question itself is unknown.

We see the men have aged significantly. The 42 puzzle is very deep.

Douglas Adams was asked many times why he chose the number 42. Many theories were proposed, including the fact that 42 is 101010 in binary code, the fact that light refracts off water by 42 degrees to create a rainbow, the fact that light requires 10−42 seconds to cross the diameter of a proton.[6] Adams rejected them all. On 3 November 1993, he gave an answer[7] on alt.fan.douglas-adams:

The answer to this is very simple. It was a joke. It had to be a number, an ordinary, smallish number, and I chose that one. Binary representations, base thirteen, Tibetan monks are all complete nonsense. I sat at my desk, stared into the garden and thought '42 will do'. I typed it out. End of story.
