The world is a small place today. You can be arrested in a tiny Afghan village in 2003 and sent into custody in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. You are released in 2007 and returned to the same village to resume your career as a butcher. A few years go by and then the whole world is shining a giant spotlight on a terrible mass shooting committed by a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant. The whole world is aghast. Why shouldn't they be? It may have been planned that way.

After the Fort Hood shootings this reporter looked into the backgrounds of the shooter Major Hassan and one of the victims Major Caraveo who were both psychiatrists who worked at Guantanamo Bay. They had links to the beltway sniper. They were part of the Manchurian Candidate industry like a duck in a noose. Should we find it a bit odd that a former detainee Prisoner 951 Allah Nasir was captured in Balandi where 12 of the victims were shot. Eleven were all members of the family of Samad Khan. The twelfth was his neighbour.

There are reports that the two villages involved in the shootings are some distance apart. It would be difficult to according to some to be in both places in a reasonable amount of time. There are witness statements of multiple shooters. In fact one witness named Rafiullah interviewed by Afghan President Hamid Karzai specifically said "soldiers" in his statement about who broke into his home and started shooting.

Another witness Mohammad Zahir described how he couldn't see the soldier's face. He shot the man's father in the leg. He described him as methodically looking from room to room. Other witnesses outside stated there were several shooters firing from multiple directions. The fall guy a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant allegedly turned himself in. He was a long term veteran of many battles. People are in disbelief he could have traversed the mile between villages and carried out the executions and burned the bodies alone just about 500 meters from the base. I find that hard to believe also.

Suffice it to say there are dark secrets to Guantanamo and Majors Hassan and Caraveo. The whole purpose to Guantanamo might be more geared to creating killers as opposed to detaining them. I would strongly recommend watching the film The Killing Room. It is not for the squeamish. It is MK Ultra on steroids in the post 9/11 world. Were the killing squad looking for someone in particular like Prisoner 951? Were they closing the books on a difficult case? Or is this a taking care of business among Afghani drug traffickers?
