A notebook which reads in English 'Can't Run', was found in the vehicle used by Guilherme Taucci Monteiro and Luiz Henrique de Castro, believed to be perpetrators of the massacre
Chilling footage has emerged of a Brazilian school shooter calmly setting his sights on victims before his accomplice hacks at their bodies, killing eight.
Guilherme Taucci Monteiro, 17, walks purposefully into the foyer before he pivots round while drawing the revolver from his waistband at the school in the Suzano suburb of Sao Paulo on Wednesday morning.
He fires at the school's principal Marilena Umezu, 59 and then staff member Eliana Xavier, 38, before going on to find others to kill.
The other attacker Luiz Henrique de Castro, who would have turned 26 on Saturday, then enters to hack at the bodies of the fallen with a machete.
The five students killed at the Professor Raul Brasil school were: Caio Oliveira, 15; Claiton Antonio Ribeiro, 17; Douglas Murilo Celestino, 16; Kaio Lucas da Costa Limeira, 15; and Samuel Melquíades Silva de Oliveira, 16.
The injured students were: Adna Bezerra, 16; Anderson Carrilho de Brito, 15; Beatriz Gonçalves, 15; Guilherme Ramos, 14; Leticia Mello, 15; Samuel Silva Felix, 16; Jenifer Silva Cavalcanti; Leonardo Martinez Santos; Leonardo Vinicius Santana; and Murilo Gomes Louro Benite.
José Vitor Ramos Lemos, who turned 18 on March 6, was injured when he was attacked with a machete.
The incident could have turned out worse if not for school attendant Cristina Silva de Moraes' decision to lead 50 students into a kitchen at the cafeteria.
The employees then blocked the entrance with a refrigerator and freezer.
