The time for world events to elicit change is upon us. Though we have unraveled the Google doodles complexities, they are still obligated to reveal to the world the hidden mysteries as they unfold. The 'Kiss' of Gustav Klimt is the latest. Klimt may not be the most well known of artists because many of his works were deemed pornographic. He is one of the most sought after artists with his works setting record prices. The 1907 portrait, Adele Bloch-Bauer I sold for $137 million. It is only fitting since the painting was commissioned by Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer the sugar baron.

Gustav was the son of a gold engraver. This is clearly seen in this genre of his work. He was born in Austria. He painted murals in large, public buildings. He received the Golden Order of Merit from Emperor Franz Josef I. He was a member of the Vienna Secession group of artists. That is a very powerful word secession. In art it meant withdrawing from conventional fields of expression. In politics it means seperating yourself from unions. In America it brought civil war. In Europe we wait. Secession may bring survival as economies implode. The use of the gold motif is a strong hint that the precious metal will be the means of survival.
-
Of course one of those large, public buildings was the Kunsthistorisches Museum. A very famous painting from another artist hangs there. It is the Tower of Babel by Pieter Brueghel. A very good reason to secede and get into gold. For the Tower of Babel is the global economy, and it will fall again.

His paintings at the University of Vienna, Philosophy, Medicine and Jurisprudence, were destroyed by the Nazis in WWII. His 1899 Nude Verita holds the mirror of 'truth.' The serpent rests at her feet. Has Klimt seen the future or is he being used to show it? The model is the classic Eve in the Garden of Eden the orb in her hand the apple.

"If you cannot please everyone with your deeds and your art, please a few. To please many is bad."

There is a body of opinion that 'The Kiss' is the story of Daphne and Apollo where she is kissed just prior to being turned into the laurel tree. To the boy Eros Apollo spoke, "What have you to do with warlike weapons, saucy boy? Leave them for hands worthy of them. Behold the conquest I have won by means of them over the vast serpent who stretched his poisonous body over acres of the plain! Be content with your torch, child, and kindle up your flames, as you call them, where you will, but presume not to meddle with my weapons."

As we approach the Olympics, we can see the fetid followers of the serpent revel in the flames of a New Jerusalem. They claim Christ came to Glastonbury. They incite revelation in their fields. They may very complete the attempt at the Olympic ceremony. Just as Daphne was forced to sacrifice her body to escape Apollo so are they intent to sacrifice the body of London.

Klimt's murals also adorn the dining room of a mansion built for a wealthy Belgian banker. The home, Stoclet Palace, is an UNESCO heritage site. Its owner Adolphe Stoclet was a Belgian engineer and financier. He directed the Société Générale de Belgique which owned about forty different enterprises, including banks, weapons production, mines in the Belgian Congo. In this period the events in the Congo were extremely notorious. People were enslaved. Human hands were used as money. They were salted for preservation..

From the book King Leopold's Ghost
We are fighting our wars for freedom because they hate out democracy. We have no sins to atone for.

This is what all those hands purchased. This is the dining room of the Stoclet Palace. Klimt's frescoes are on the side. It is the tree of life. They do have a perverted sense of humour. This is an angel of death not life. We will be held accountable for these grievous wrongs. Perhaps the Midas touch is appropriate as well. Our quest for gold kills us.

The doodle also clearly spells GOOLE. That is a place in England. It is on the coast far from London. However, Goole is derived from the Middle English word goule meaning stream or channel. Perhaps it could reference The Thames. Of note it wasn't collected in the Domesday Book. The book tallied the wealth of the nation for the Day of Judgement.

-
"for as the sentence of that strict and terrible last account cannot be evaded by any skilful subterfuge, so when this book is appealed to ... its sentence cannot be put quashed or set aside with impunity. That is why we have called the book 'the Book of Judgment' ... because its decisions, like those of the Last Judgment, are unalterable."
-
So perhaps we have been spared the kiss of death in its latest manifestation. Perhaps the message is we are not included in the Domesday Book. However, in the old English doom is spelt dome. Many cities have domed structures including London's O2 or Millennium Dome the sight of Ben Fellows movie where murders were afoul. We must wait for the kiss to see the end result as the G4S security situation becomes a massive scandal.

A missing masterpiece not seen in over 100 years was auctioned in London recently. Perhaps it is the GOOLE.
