SUB WARS

Posted by George Freund on February 26, 2012 at 9:25 AM

There seems to be more than a war on for your mind. There is the age old war for money, power and control. There is the war over knowledge which includes its suppression and advancement at the same time. One of the major battlefields appears to be the war in the race beneath the seas. It is a journey to the very firmaments that God established to separate the seas from above with those below. Since this war is a secret one with competing groups of elite rich pitted in Titanic struggle, we have to view the results of the mayhem and write our own script. With the benefit of the concept of last man standing showing us the perpetrator and victor in the same end of game, welcome denizens of the deep.

It has probably come as a surprise to many of you that the niche market in yachts for the elite rich is submarines. Well over 100 have been constructed of the luxury type. Then there are many others that could be termed observation submarines. One of these was used by a group of Russians arrested by Ecuador on the heels of a volcanic eruption a few years back. This author was one of the few to piece together a deeper, darker reason for all the excitement. Then we must extend the genre to the narcotics traffickers who build a home grown variety. Last but not least is the research submarine to get to the firmaments. That is the penultimate part of the game reserved for the super wealthy. It also seems to follow the age old code of death if we examine the wave of misfortune that has befallen the participants. There are so few, but they are suffering in disproportionate numbers to most other groups save and except Iranian nuclear scientists.

So we see in the science pages the race to the bottom of the sea is the main game of the super rich these days. Everybody's doing it. The main players are James Cameron of Titanic fame, Sir Richard Branson of Virgin fame, DOER Marine of San Francisco financed by Eric Schmidt CEO of Google, and Triton Submarines of Florida. It's tough to be poor. We could feed the starving, but this is a race.

-

There was a notable player in the race a few years back as well. He died in a mysterious plane crash in Nevada in 2007. His name was Steve Fossett. This was one of the great mysteries of the new century. I remember doing a great interview on that. Steve died on the fringes of Area 51 as it has been known. Trespassers are shot. Interlopers from the air are shot down. A few nuclear weapons were in transit from Minot AFB to Barksdale AFB. They were kind of misplaced. A few good men in the USAF died immediately afterwards. A Conspiracy show host suggested they were going to steal one to start a nuclear 9/11. What a maroon. The place to take it would be the vicinity of Area 51. There's NO peeking there. Steve was flying the periphery there. His remains weren't found for a year. Tell me how that happens next to the super secret most protected site in the U.S. with radar that could track a fly? I'll have to post my script on that one. Of course the co-ordinates of where Stevie took off from at the Flying-M Ranch (38°36′13″N 119°00′11″W) have a few 9/11's in them.

-

-

But this part of Steve's death isn't the crux of the story here. We are interested in his submarine venture. He was bankrolling Graham Hawkes a sea maverick building underwater flying machines. He died weeks before delivery of the submarine.

Well people who live on the edge do die. It's just fate Steve was one of them. However, isn't it a wee bit strange another major player James Cameron had two of his film makers perish in a helicopter crash in Australia recently. The karma seems to be getting a bit unhealthy.

And if that was all, we could say co-incidence. However, Sir Richard Branson the other player in the race suffered a catastrophic fire at his home on Necker Island. It was a brutal blaze that he miraculously survived. Actress Kate Winslett was also a guest there at the time. Sir Richard had to evacuate au natural to save the ladies even.

-

-

So in a small group of super rich eco explorers we have two missions suffering fatalities and a third near fatalities. That is extreme statistically.

-

British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson's luxury home, on Necker Island in the Caribbean, was badly damaged by fire. That leaves the DOER Google mission and Triton left. Last man standing has to be extremely lucky or have a lot of explaining to do.

-

So we have laid bare the Microsoft team and their ship Octopus in the Bond like mission to the Antarctic. We see their co-controller of the information clearing house Google have a mission to the bottom of the sea as well. So far they remain unscathed. However, like a British murder mystery in an old house on the moors, things are getting interesting as victims fall out of the 'race'.

Film director James Cameron adds a touch of Hollywood glamour to the four teams racing to the deep. His sub has been kept strictly under wraps, but there's no doubt that it will be designed as a platform for gathering the best footage of the Mariana Trench. Left, a scene from Cameron's 1989 movie, The Abyss. Top right, one of the Russian subs used to gather footage of the Titanic's wreck, bottom right.

-

VIRGINSUB.png

The first dive to the Mariana Trench 50 years ago was made by a team of two, but Virgin is now backing a solo effort. This team, with its radical "flying" submersible wants to be the first of the four contenders to make it down to the world's deepest spot.

-

Triton.png

Triton submarines is one of four teams trying to reach the bottom of the sea. The company wants paying customers to join them for a ride in a three-seater yellow submarine. The team says its vessel - kitted out with a tough glass sphere - will offer an unrivalled view of the deepest part of the ocean.

-

DOER Marine say its not about coming first in a race, but creating a sub that will benefit science. This team, backed by Google's Eric Schmidt, wants the Deep Search submersible to open up the oceans to researchers, from the surface to their deepest point.

The 'race' is ON. Let's hope there are no more co-incidences. The firmaments are a tough boundary to cross.

Our story doesn't end here. There is a body of opinion that has said there was a lost continent called Mu at the bottom of the Pacific. Modern science says BALDERDASH. Yes but off Taiwan at the bottom of the sea exists a pyramid and ruins of a lost civilization. They never taught us that in school. It is called Yonaguni Jima. The Japanese are putting troops on the island. You can decide for yourself what you see.

-

As Mr. Spock used to say in Star Trek, "Fascinating." So the Mariana Trench is quite away from Yonaguni. That is true, but continents are quite expansive. The continent of Mu has been drawn as follows:

Mu, as a lost Pacific Ocean continent, was later popularised by James Churchward (1851–1936) in a series of books, beginning with Lost Continent of Mu, the Motherland of Man (1926),[2] re-edited later as The Lost Continent Mu (1931).[8] Other popular books in the series are The Children of Mu (1931), and The Sacred Symbols of Mu (1933).

-

Churchward claimed that "more than fifty years ago," while he was a soldier in India, he befriended a high-ranking temple priest who showed him a set of ancient "sunburnt" clay tablets, supposedly in a long lost "Naga-Maya language" which only two other people in India could read. Having mastered the language himself, Churchward found out that they originated from "the place where [man] first appeared—Mu." The 1931 edition states that “all matter of science in this work are based on translations of two sets of ancient tablets:” the clay tables he read in India, and a collection 2,500 stone tablets that had been uncovered by William Niven in Mexico.[8]: p. 7

-

Churchward gave a vivid description of Mu as the home of an advanced civilization, the Naacal, which flourished between 50,000 and 12,000 years ago, was dominated by a “white race,"[8]: p. 48 and was "superior in many respects to our own" [8]: p. 17 At the time of its demise, about 12,000 years ago, Mu had 64,000,000 inhabitants and many large cities, and colonies in the other continents.

-

Churchward claimed that the landmass of Mu was located in the Pacific Ocean, and stretched east-west from the Marianas to Easter Island, and north-south from Hawaii to Mangaia. He claimed that according to the creation myth he read in the Indian tablets, Mu had been lifted above sea level by the expansion of underground volcanic gases. Eventually Mu “was completely obliterated in almost a single night”[8]: p. 44: after a series of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, "the broken land fell into that great abyss of fire" and was covered by "fifty millions of square miles of water."[8]: p. 50

-

Churchward claimed that Mu was the common origin of the great civilizations of Egypt, Greece, Central America, India, Burma and others, including Easter Island, and was in particular the source of ancient megalithic architecture. As evidence for his claims, he pointed to symbols from throughout the world, in which he saw common themes of birds, the relation of the Earth and the sky, and especially the Sun. Churchward claims the king of Mu was Ra and he relates this to the Egyptian god of the sun, Ra, and the Rapanui word for Sun, ra’a, which he incorrectly spells "raa."[8]: p. 48 He claimed to have found symbols of the Sun in “Egypt, Babylonia, Peru and all ancient lands and countries – it was a universal symbol.”[8]: p. 138

-

Churchward attributed all megalithic art in Polynesia to the people of Mu. He claimed that symbols of the sun are found “depicted on stones of Polynesian ruins,” such as the stone hats (pukao) on top of the giant moai statues of Easter Island. Citing W.J. Johnson, Churchward describes the cylindrical hats as “spheres” that "seem to show red in the distance”, and asserts that they “represent the Sun as Ra.”[8]: p. 138 He also incorrectly claimed that some of them are made of "red sandstone" [8]: p. 89 which does not occur in the island. The platforms on which the statues rest (ahu) are described by Churchward as being “platform-like accumulations of cut and dressed stone,” which were supposedly left in their current positions “awaiting shipment to some other part of the continent for the building of temples and palaces.”[8]: p. 89 He also cites the pillars “erected by the Māori of New Zealand” as an example of this lost civilization’s handiwork.[8]: p. 158 In Churchward's view, the present-day Polynesians are not descendants of the dominant members of the lost civilization of Mu, responsible for these great works, but survivors of the cataclysm that adopted “the first cannibalism and savagery” in the world.[8]: p. 54

-

So is the race to the bottom of the Mariana Trench a cover for the race to the Continent of Mu? Are they descending to God's firmaments? The short answer appears to be YES!
